Music Director, 2021 - 2022

Christopher Ciarlariello joined the Rutgers University Alumni Wind Symphony in 2009 as a member of the clarinet section. He graduated from Mason Gross in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and went on to earn his Master of Music degree in performance from Duquesne University, where he studied multiple woodwind instruments.

Chris has performed in numerous concert ensembles and enjoys performing as a woodwind doubler in pit orchestras. He is currently a band director in Monroe Township and teaches woodwind students in grades 4-12. His wife, Molly, is a member of the French Horn section and they have 2 amazing children, Mason and Chloe. Chris continues his passion for Music, Service, and Brotherhood as the current Chair of the Board of Trustees for Mu Beta Psi, National Honorary Musical Fraternity (formerly Mu Upsilon Alpha) at Rutgers.

He is very excited to have this opportunity to work with the ensemble in a different capacity this year and make music together once again!
