A New Jersey native and proud Rutgers Alum, Meredith has earned two degrees from Mason Gross School of the Arts; Bachelor's in Music Education (2007) and Masters in Wind Conducting (2013), as well as an NJ Supervisor Certificate from the Graduate School of Education (GSE). While at Rutgers, she was drum major of the Marching Scarlet Knights, a member of the Wind Ensemble, and also sang in the Kirkpatrick Choir.

She has been the band director at Mountain Lakes High School in Morris County for fifteen years, where she teaches the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Pit Orchestra, Blue Notes Jazz Band, and instrumental lessons. She is a two-time recipient of the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Mike Moss Conducting Grant, and has been fortunate to study with many amazing teachers like Kraig Alan Willams, Jerry Junkin, Mallory Thompson, Michael Haithcock, Emily Threinen, Roby George, and Kenneth Keisler. She has appeared as a conductor with the Somerville High School Wind Ensemble, the Raritan Valley Symphonic Band, the Rutgers University Saxophone Ensemble, and the Blawenburg Band before joining the RUAWS in 2022. As a woodwind specialist, Meredith has performed in community theater and high school productions all over central New Jersey.

Meredith lives in Morris County with her husband George (RC '04/Law '09) and two beautiful children, Julie and Georgie.
